Machined Bearings Almost every "high end" machine uses wheel bearings instead of bushings for several reasons. Bearings create much less drag than bushings, which creates a much silkier ride. This lack of drag is also gentler on the grass. Bearings also fit much tighter than bushings, which prevents wheel wobble and damaging axle wear. It is common with bushings that grease will escape and collect dust that causes extreme axle wear. Greaseless With this conversion you will NEVER need to grease again! Our bearing inner seals are also removable for customers that want to continue using grease. Our conversion kit provides all the required parts including thrust washers. It is easy to damage the E-Clips (snap rings) during this repair so we include 2 new E-Clips - Just in case.
